PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has expressed his deep sense of grief and sorrow on the loss of precious lives in a terrorist incident in Quetta-Mastung. He condemned this latest terrorist activity in the strongest possible words. He prayed for early recovery of the injured including Deputy Chairman Senate Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri. He said that the scale of terrorist incident is manifest from the high level of destruction caused by it. He said that this incident appears to be part of coordinated sabotage activities.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that as the deplorable incident shows, the terrorists seem to be at large and the claims of their elimination are restricted to the news items. He said that the terrorist incident shows the failure of the government with terrorists and their sympathizers busy in spreading havoc through their nefarious actions. He said that the people want to know for how long they will continue to be cheated in the name of war of terrorism.

The PAT Chairman said that the rulers say with stubbornness that the number of terrorist incidents have decreased in the country, adding that the fact is that terrorists and their support networks not only stay intact but also continue to perpetrate acts of violence at the time of their own choosing. He asked the Prime Minister to tell the nation as to how many times he mentioned the NAP and how many meetings he actually presided over to oversee the implementation status. He said that the report of Justice Qazi Faez Isa has not been implemented to date and some of the federal ministers have gone to the extent of ridiculing the report and its recommendations. He said it appears that rulers have no interest in eliminating terrorism.
