US-Arab summit a big foreign policy fiasco for Pakistan: PAT Secretary General

PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur has said that government had assured the people that the Islamic alliance would not be used against any Islamic country but views on Iran expressed on the platform of US-Arab summit evidently manifested that the attempts are being made to divide the house of Islam and unfortunately Pakistan is the part of this conspiracy.

Khurram Nawaz Gandapur added that the very fact the our PM was not allowed to speak on the occasion of the summit indicates that he has been given some instructions to carry out them, while noting that 190 million people of atomic power Pakistan have been humiliated when their leader was not invited to deliver address in the US-Islam Summit. He demanded the government to take the Parliament into confidence about the objectives and scope of the US-Islam summit. He further added that the US President had declared the Indian prime minster as the biggest victim of terrorism despite standing on the soil of our brotherly Islamic country.

Khurram Nawaz Gandapur noted that the fact is that under the Modi regime the unprecedented barbarism had been unleashed in IHK and across LoC, dozens of Pakistani had been martyred or injured by unprovocative and indiscriminate across the LoC Indian shelling, thousands of Kashmiri men, women and children had been blinded with pellet guns. He also noted that it must be source of concern for our policy makers as to which direction we were being pushed. He said it was high time to ponder seriously what strategic and economic advantages we would reap by establishing ties with the distant neighbours.

Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that it was lamentable that government and foreign office were silent over the US-Arab summit and an accused minister from Punjab was giving briefing over the foreign policy.
