Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri demands resignation of the PM

PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the crime of Nawaz Sharif has been proven and he should immediately tender his resignation. He said that further stay of the premier in power will be detrimental to the country. He said that it is not through change of faces but the system that the conditions of the country will improve for the better. He said that the end of politics of the corrupt family is the voice of every Pakistani’s heart. He asked the workers to ensure their participation in the protest demonstration being held on July 15 in Lahore. He said that the purpose of holding the protest rally is to demand publication of the Model Town Commission report, justice for martyrs of Model Town and push for Go Nawaz Go agenda. He said that 23 of our workers laid down their lives while waging struggle for elimination of corrupt and exploitative system and faced 2000 fake cases of terrorism in the process, adding that many of them were kept in illegal detention.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri expressed these views while addressing the meeting of the Central Core Committee yesterday. He said that the dozens of corruption cases were registered against the rulers and many references were filed but they could not be held accountable. He said that even the JIT has stated that when the record was called, the government institutions either did not oblige. They either gave partial information or no information at all. He termed the JIT report as extraordinary and said that we are happy that such a damning report has exposed the rulers. He said that we want them to be held to account in the light of this report. He said that it has been 27 years since we have been waging struggle against corrupt mafia. He said that he would address the protest demonstration on July 15. He further said that it was PAT that spread awareness about Articles 62 and 63 among the masses.
