PAT leader Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that heading to elections 2018 without accountability and reforms will result in perpetuation of the rotten system that has undermined the nation, institutions and the country. He said that the system that has been designed at the behest of the vested interests cannot catch them. He said that the ruling elite involved in corruption and loot and plunder of resources have defiled the moral values of the society.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri made these remarks while talking to the senior party leaders here. He said that when Allah Almighty threw out Satan from heavens for his disobedience, he did not ask God as to why he was expelled, because he was aware of the reasons of his ouster. He said that the disqualified and disgraced prime minister is making hue and cry over his expulsion from public office, knowing full well the reasons behind his sacking. He said that even Satan pales in comparison over this stubbornness.

The PAT Chairman said that strict accountability should be carried out by dismissing assemblies and a comprehensive constitutional package of reforms should be spelled out. He said that the assemblies that can make way for the disqualified premier to head a political party and make amendment in the sensitive law governing the belief in the finality of the prophethood, why cannot they introduce legislation for well-being of the people? He said that the constitution will have to be purged of the amendments that seek to protect and safeguard the interests of the powerful elite and the families.

Dr Qadri said that the change in the elections laws that are related to the finality in the prophethood was an international conspiracy and disqualified Nawaz Sharif was fully on board. He said that it is not the question of involvement of one or two ministers, rather the whole government is responsible for such a serious act. He said that none of the ministers and advisors mentioned deletion of 7-B and 7-C clauses in the newly approved Election Reforms Act on the floor of the assembly. He said that whole assembly should be sent home on misleading the nation.

He said that the Tajdar e Khatm-e-Nabuwwat ﷺ Conference will be held at the Minar-e-Pakistan where he will deliver his keynote address.
