Renowned political personality of district Bhakar (PP48), Malik Nazar Abbas Kahawar, met with PAT chief Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri at his residence on October 26 and announced to join Pakistan Awami Tehreek. Speaking on the occasion, Malik Nazar Abbas Kahwar said that the rulers of the Lahore throne have given people of South Punjab nothing except disappointment and deprivations. He said that ten-point agenda given by Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri can guarantee prosperity of the whole country including South Punjab. He said that there is no denying the fact that future belongs to Pakistan Awami Tehreek. He said that he would make his best efforts to come up to expectations and live up to trust the party has reposed in him. Malik Nazar Abbas contested 2013 general elections from PP 48, Bhakar.
