A delegation of PPP called on PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur in Islamad. The delegation consisted of Farhatullah Baber, Dr Qayyum Soomro, Nayyar Bukhari and Ali Muhammad. The delegates extended a formal invitation to PAT to participate in the APC being held on March 4.

PAT Secretary General accepted the invite and assured the delegation of his party’s participation in the APC. Talking to the PPP leader, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that his party has accepted the invitation and will join other political forces on March 4. He said that the PAT’s point of view is very clear with regarding to failure of good governance and the National Action Plan to uproot terrorism from the country. He said that his party has a solid position in regard to elimination of terrorism.

Khurram Nawaz Gandaur recalled that PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri not only authored a 600-page Fatwa against terrorism but also designed Islamic curriculum to reform the religious seminaries where the worldview of the terrorists is shaped. He said that the whole world except Pakistan are benefitting from this curriculum. He gifted the delegation 35 books of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri that he wrote with regard to elimination of terrorism.

The delegates appreciated the services of Dr Qadri against terrorism and militancy and said that the proposals to be put forward by PAT in the Conference will be welcomed.
