Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri vows to fight for justice till end

An important meeting of the central Core Committee of PAT was held here today with PAT Chairman Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri in the chair. The panel of PAT lawyers briefed the party chief on the latest developments on the Model Town case. The lawyers told Dr Qadri that after acceptance of the private complaint, the case has been heard for ten times but none of the responsible police officers has appeared in the antiterrorism court.

Those present in the meeting included PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Fayyaz Warraich, Ahmad Nawaz Anjum, Noorullah Siddiqui, and Sajid Bhatti.

Addressing the Core Committee meeting after the briefing by the PAT lawyers, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the future of a country cannot termed bright whose law does not come into action on the collective killing of innocent people. He said that it is responsibility of every citizen to try to extricate the country from the clutches of the corrupt and exploitative rulers. He said that the blood of the martyrs of Model Town will not go in vain, adding that every drop of the blood will be avenged through law of the land.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that he would continue to fight to rid the people of the system of oppression. He said that we are fighting our case in the legal and the people’s courts for justice in favor of the victims of the Model Town, which will continue till Qisas. He said that the government that came into being due to a combination of money, power and duress has lost its standing and stated that the rulers will have to face law and the people.

Another meeting of the Core Committee will be held today in which the PAT lawyers will give more briefing to the Chairman of the party.
