Burhan Muzaffar Wani metaphor of Kashmir’s freedom: Khuram Nawaz Gandapur

PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur has said that the long-festering Kashmir issue must be resolved as per the resolutions passed by UNO. The very popularity of late Burhan Wani is the irrefutable evidence that the people of Kashmir want the solution of Kashmir as per its internationally recognized disputed status accepted by the international community. He regretted that the dozens of resolutions passed by UNO were collecting dust, while noting that the people of Kashmir still desired the implementation of the promises made by the international community to settle the issue.

The PAT Secretary General observed that the stability of Pakistan was inextricably linked with Kashmir. “The Kashmir issue is the unfinished agenda of the partition of subcontinent. Sooner or later, India will have to end its occupation of Kashmir” he noted. He added that Burhan Wani adorned the freedom fight of Kashmir with his blood. He observed that Burhan Wani’s blood had reignited the fire of freedom among the youth and the other segments of society. He noted that despite unprecedented barbarities and brutalities inflicted upon the people of Kashmir by the Indian Army, all segments of Kashmiri people were defying the curfews and protesting like Burhan Wani.

Khurram Nawaz Gandapur was talking to the leaders of PAT Azad Jamu & Kashmir chapter yesterday in main secretariat Model Town. Sardar Mansoor, Sardar Ijaz Khan Sadozi, Ibrahim Raza and others were also present on occasion. They added that the demand for freedom in Kashmir was being suppressed with state sponsored terrorism and barbarities, but the candle lit with the blood of Burahn Wani was directing the freedom fighter towards the cherished destination of freedom and exposing the Indian brutalities before the world.

The PAT Secretary General lamented that the so called Chairman Kashmir Committee and the government of Pakistan did not go beyond offering lip service for the cause of Kashmir people. He warned that as long as such types of rulers and opportunist leaders would continue to remain in power corridors, the correct picture of ongoing ground realities of Kashmir could not be presented before the world community. He added that India-leaning incumbent rulers left no stone unturned to remove the Kashmir issue from the diplomacy of Pakistan but the people of Kashmir loved Pakistan from their core of heart and by the will of God, the unmatchable sacrifices rendered by Kashmiris would bear fruit one day and the brave sons of Kashmir would taste the sweetness of freedom.
