PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur has appointed Abid Hussain Astauri as coordinator of Pakistan Awami Tehreek in Gilgit-Baltistan (GB). A formal notification was issued by the central secretariat of the party yesterday. PAT leaders Ahmad Nawaz Anjum, Sajid Bhatti, Jawad Hamid, and Hafiz Ghulam Farid have congratulated Abid Hussain Astauri on his appointment and hoped that he would play a key role in establishing PAT network in GB and struggle of PAT chief for establishment of real democracy and restoration of people’s rights.
