On the occasion of International Youth Day, the Minhaj Youth League launched a nationwide tree plantation campaign. Director General of Punjab Road Safety Authority Dr. Ahmad Khawar Shehzad and Director of PHA Zaheer-ul-Islam inaugurated the campaign by planting trees along with Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Secretary General of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, and Rana Waheed Shehzad, President of Minhaj Youth League.

A large number of central leaders of Minhaj-ul-Quran and Youth League representatives were present at the event. Speaking on the occasion, Rana Waheed Shehzad announced that the Minhaj Youth League will plant 50,000 trees across various districts and cities nationwide, and all preparations have been completed for this campaign.

After planting a tree on the ground opposite the central secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran, Dr. Ahmad Khawar Shehzad praised Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri for his excellent training of youth, noting that he is actively working for the betterment of future generations. He said that tree plantation is a matter of survival and that every individual must rise above personal and party interests to work for a greener Pakistan.

PHA Director Zaheer-ul-Islam also pledged full support to Minhaj Youth League and encouraged other religious and faith-based organizations to participate actively in this noble cause.
Khurram Nawaz Gandapur thanked the esteemed guests and directed all Youth League officials to ensure the success of this plantation campaign. He urged the youth to strive for an educated, prosperous, and green Pakistan.

Later, during a seminar titled “Youth – The Future of Pakistan” held in honor of International Youth Day, speakers reaffirmed their commitment to brightening Pakistan with the light of knowledge and eliminating the darkness of extremism.

The seminar participants praised the tireless efforts and leadership of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, Professor Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, and Professor Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri in establishing model institutions of education and training across the country.
