Chairman of the Supreme Council Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, while speaking at the National Youth Convention organized on the 36th Foundation Day of Minhaj Youth League, has emphasized that the youth are the asset of Islam and Pakistan. He highlighted that the moral, spiritual, and social evelopment of the younger generation is a religious and national duty.
"Character is the powerful force and quality that makes a person invincible," he said.
Dr Hassan advised young people to value their time, focus their energies on acquiring knowledge, cultivate a love for reading, and adopt honesty and integrity as their guiding principles. These values, he added, are the essence of the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
The Chairman Supreme Council urged the audience to center their lives on love for Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him), maintain a positive outlook, and present themselves as responsible citizens. He referenced Allama Iqbal's philosophy of Khudi (selfhood) and the traits of a Shaheen (eagle) that Iqbal encouraged in youth, stating that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri is training young people based on the same vision.
Addressing the convention, the central president of Minhaj Youth League, Rana Waheed Shehzad, said that the Youth League is reviving the culture of the pen and the book. "Promoting peace and education is our mission," he added.
The National Youth Convention was also addressed by Deputy Secretary General Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees, Dr. Muhammad Imran Younis, Syed Haroon Shah Bukhari, Professor Mazhar Hussain Qadri, Seth Waqar Qadri, Rana Ahmed Raza, Hafiz Muhammad Hanan, Haji Anwar Hussain, and Sadaf Chaudhry.
