Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri briefs delegation of Senior Management Course

A delegation of Senior Management Course of National Management College led by Dr Syed Haider Ali (Directing Staff) held a meeting with Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of Federal Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, in Lahore today.

They also visited different directorates and departments of MQI. Brig. (r) Iqbal Ahmad Khan, naib Amir of MQI, gave a comprehensive briefing about working of these departments. Acting Secretary General Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz was also present on the occasion.

G.M. Malik, Principal Secretary to Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, welcomed the delegation upon their arrival at the central secretariat. Faiz-ur-Rehman Durrani, Amir of MQI, introduced the members of delegation and leaders of MQI to one another.

Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri threw detailed light on the scope of working of MQI around the world. He in particular dilated upon organizational network, educational services of MQI and its global role for promotion of peace, interfaith dialogue and harmony in the world. He also answered various questions of the course participants.

Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri told the participants that 15 to 20 PhD theses on various aspects of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri’s personality and work were at different stages of completion. He said that it was a rare honour that PhD theses were underway on a living personality at the renowned universities of the world.

He said that more than 450 published works of Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri on different subjects were quenching the thirst of knowledge seekers in the world. He said that over 1000 manuscripts were at different stages of compilation and completion. He said that over 6000 recorded speeches of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri contained a great treasure of knowledge and the scope of his services in such domains as religion, education, peace, and human welfare had been extended to the world.

Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that there was a perception that only a person having religious knowledge could win Allah’s pleasure, which was not true as people of all fields were equally eligible to win Allah’s pleasure. He said that if people performed their duties with utmost sense of dedication and honesty and improved people’s life, they could win Allah’s pleasure. Likewise, an administrator or a public policy maker had huge responsibilities on his shoulders as fate of the masses depended upon his decisions. He said that purity of intentions, honesty and dedication were the prerequisites in this regard.

Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri gifted the members of delegation with books and DVDs of Shaykh-ul-Islam.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Haider Ali (Directing Staff) and head of delegation, said that Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri was a leading authority on Islam and every Pakistani should be proud on him. He said that Dr Qadri had established institutions and his contributions would continue to benefit the people for centuries to come.
